TOPIC: No Thank You, Forever®: Emotional Regulation & Setting Boundaries

SPEAKER:  Hosted by Jolene Watson

OVERVIEW

Have you ever agreed to something, professionally or personally, and immediately regretted it? Each unconsidered yes can cost time, energy, credibility, boundaries, self-respect, and dignity. The emotion of dignity reminds us that we are worthy of respect, value, and care, including from ourselves. Learning when and how to say a clear, respectful no is a powerful skill and an essential part of emotional regulation.

OUTCOMES

  1. Enhance confidence and assertiveness with a focus on dignity.
  2. Choose compassion over empathy. Boundaries require emotional agility.
  3. Redefine time management with a focus on purpose, priorities, and core values.

No is a boundary decision; yes, is a responsibility-based decision

Boundaries are Learnable.
