Karen is a Design Associate at Metric Design, an award-winning interior design studio based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Metric specializes in residential and commercial interiors, offering full-service design, renovations, and custom home projects throughout the Saskatoon area. The studio has been delivering construction-integrated design with integrity and performance since 2011.
With a degree in Studio Art & Art History from the University of Saskatchewan, Karen brings a rich creative foundation to every project. Her design philosophy centres on crafting spaces that are not only beautiful, but deeply personal — each one reflecting the unique story and style of the client. She is known for her approachable energy, her eye for thoughtful detail, and her ability to collaborate closely with clients to bring their vision to life.
At Metric Design, Karen works across a diverse range of residential and commercial projects, blending artistry with function to create environments that feel intentional and meaningful. She is also an active member of the SWN Programs Committee and has presented at SWN luncheons, sharing her design expertise with the Saskatoon Women's Network community.
